Practical plant training and testing can be delivered at the Woburn yard. Where a particular specialist machine is needed, LDC can hire it in or deliver training and testing on suitable plant at the customer's site. ProQual NVQs are assessed in the workplace using evidence from real work.

Training time depends on the machine and the candidate. The experienced-worker test is a lower-cost route for people who can provide suitable evidence of their existing experience.
